Sorry I am replying late. Now to your question, the blackmailer wants just one thing, to keep your friend in perpetual fear so he can have his way with her. Like I said in the article, there's no other trusted way to keep a blackmailer off your back than to let everyone who will be offended by the evidence - if you are sure they have one - to know that you are being blackmailed. The most important thing is that your friend should never ever succumb to his threats by granting him his request.
